Electrical Safety Permits
Last modified on March 6, 2020
Electrical permits, issued by the Electrical Safety Authority, are required any time electrical work is done. This includes new or changed wiring or equipment. Part-for-part changes, such as changing a light fixture or changing an inverter, do not require permits but all solar energy system work requires permits, including part-for-part changes. Only licensed electrical contractors can take our permits to work on your electrical equipment.
