Update: January 2025: New incentives coming from the Province, details TBC. Looks like potential up to $10,000 for residential installations and $0.86/W for commercial installations. This is very significant. Details expected January 28th. Hopefully this new program will hit the ground running, allowing existing projects to continue without delays.

Home Owners:

  • Canada Greener Homes: up to $5000 for climate-friendly retrofits including solar. 
  • Existing primary residences only – no rental units or cottages.  New homes are eligible once occupied for 6 months. 
  • Register and complete the first home assessment before solar project construction begins.
  • Grant money is not taxable income.
